Osteria Vicolo was born from a simple idea — that the best Italian food isn't found in fancy restaurants with long menus. It's found at a kitchen table in a small village, made with whatever the season offers, cooked slowly and eaten together.
We opened in Manchester's Northern Quarter in 2017 with 28 covers and a handwritten menu that changes every week. Same philosophy today. We make everything from scratch every morning — pasta, sauces, bread — and we won't serve anything we wouldn't eat ourselves.






We recommend booking in advance, especially for Friday and Saturday evenings. Walk-ins welcome subject to availability.
